Born and raised in the Tampa Bay area, Jessica is an alumnus of Riverview High School. She also earned her Bachelor of Music with a concentration in Vocal Performance and a Business Administration minor from Florida Southern College.
Jessica has always loved to perform and began her journey into singing in Elementary School where she participated in choir, orchestra, and musical theatre productions. In Middle School, she competed in All-State Choirs and Solo & Ensemble Competitions where she found her love of classical singing. She continued incorporating music into her life when she attended Riverview High School by participating in choir, Barbershops Quartets, show choir, and musical theatre productions where she had leading roles such as in Hairspray as Penny Pingleton and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee as Logainne. During her High School career, she also began taking private classical voice lessons and competing in numerous competitions, including the Schmidt Vocal Competition where she won 3rd place in her first year, and a Finalist Position in her last. At Florida Southern College, Jessica honed in her technique with private lessons and began her operatic training. She has been featured as Rose in Ruddigore and in the Imperial Symphony Orchestra’s productions of La Boheme and The Magic Flute. She also won the Most Promising Student award at the NATS Vocal Competition. At FSC, Jessica also received top marks in areas such as Music Theory, Music History, Aural Skills, Diction, and Keyboard Musicianship.
Jessica is very exited to utilize all her skills to make her students the best they can be. She loves getting to know her students and bases the curriculum of her lessons on an individual basis. She encourages the students to perform with confidence and reach for the stars to attain their dreams.
