Clayton was born in Orlando, Florida. Graduating from Freedom High School, he was then accepted into USF’s School of Music program, where he is currently studying Music Education.
Clayton first started exploring music at the age of 11, starting with viola lessons. After finding passion in music through the viola, the next year he started piano lessons. Still continuing on viola, he picked up any other instrument that he could get his hands on. Clayton then went on to play in the top orchestra ensemble in school and performed in both the All County and All State Florida orchestras. He is currently studying Music Education and is learning viola under John Posadas at the University of South Florida.
Clayton graduated from Freedom High School in Orlando, Florida with a 3.8 GPA and is currently studying at USF for a BM in Music Education.
Clayton is regularly performing in USF’s Symphony Orchestra, along with solo performances in the viola studio at USF. He has played High School gigs, Weddings, and church ensembles both in Orlando and Tampa.
Clayton hopes to spark a passion within students, like his teachers have done for him. He believes that through passion and dedication, any student has the possibility to achieve greatness through music lessons.
