Jack was born and raised in the Bronx, New York and moved to Florida in 2017. He starting studying classical guitar at the age of 8, and as a result, he has a deep appreciation for classical music. But he can jam in any style! Jack has also taught music both in New York and here in Florida for several years.

Jack started as a young boy banging on the drums (really pots and pans). Soon, his mom wisely decided to put a guitar in his hands. Jack came from a musical family - Dad was a trombone player, MOonm played the clarinet and sang beautifully, along with all of his sisters! In fact, all 4 of the Maldonado kids attended the High School of Music and Art (no Laguardia HS) in New York City. There, they honed their skills at the collegiate level and formed a musical group called "Born Twice". Their group performed at many churches in the area, and even recorded a CD (Al Otro Lado, check it out on Spotify). Currently, Jack mostly performs at local churches, and wherever else he's needed!
