Menjalah, also known as Menjie, hails from Cuba, and is currently a junior at the University of Tampa as a Music Performance Major. At the age of 7, she started learning how to play the violin, and a year later was admitted to the Elementary School for Music in Havana, which is now known as Paulita Concepcion. She completed her primary schooling there and performed in different musical festivals and contests along the way. One of her biggest performances was with the famous violinist Evelio Tieles, along with an interactive master class with Lindsey Sterling.
Menjie was later admitted to the National School of Music in Havana, Cuba, and graduated with a Bachiller certificate. She has been playing violin for over 17 years and Piano 16 years as a performer. After her graduation from the National School of Music in Havana, she came to the states to pursue her bachelor's degree in music performance and an associate degree in music Production.
Back in 2017, Menjie started teaching privately in her home country and loves working with kids and teenagers. She enjoyed teaching them how to play their own favorites, and at the same time to love the music as much as she does. Music is her passion, and she is excited to share her knowledge with you!
