Aoife (pronounced E-fa) is from Galway, Ireland. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Dublin City University in Ireland. Since graduating college, she has been living in America and teaching Music in elementary schools.

Started Music Career:

Aoife began taking piano lessons at the age of 7, which she continued to take right up to her adult life. When she was 10, Aoife played the clarinet and was a member of the brass band in her local town. Since then, she has picked up many other instruments including voice, ukulele, guitar, the Irish bodhrán and the Irish whistle. In elementary school and high school, Aoife always sang in the choir, and continued to do so so in her college years, singing in the Mater Dei Chorale.


Aoife Willis graduated from Dublin City University in 2016 (Bachelor’s of Music Education and Religion) and from Presentation Currylea Secondary School in 2012.

Favorite Aspect of Teaching:

Aoife always ensures to set a comfortable teaching environment for her students to encourage them to dig deep into their creative minds and be as expressive as possible. Aoife’s main goal is for her students to truly enjoy their lessons, respect their instrument, and most importantly have fun!
