Background: Brandon Baltodano was born in Orlando Florida. He graduated from Olympia High School and was accepted into the University of South Florida School of Music were he is studying piano performance.
Started Music Career: He began studying at age 13 by ear until he began taking Classical piano lessons at age 15. Then he became head keyboardist at Windermere Baptist Church and the head keyboardist at Foundation Academy Preparatory School. During high school, he engaged in jazz studies and was a part of the jazz ensemble and jazz combo. Also he accompanied choir and applicants for solo and ensemble. Brandon continued Classical piano lessons and received masterclasses from Dr. Gloria Cook (Rollins college) Dr. Yun-Ling Hsu (UCF school of music), and Dr. Roberta Rust (Lynn University). Currently he is studying piano performance under Dr. Eunmi Ko at the University of South Florida.
Education: Brandon Baltodano graduated from Olympia High School with a 3.5 GPA and is currently attending University of South Florida for a BM in Piano Performance. (Class of 2021)
Area of Focus: Classical Piano, Jazz Studies, Music History, and Music Theory
Favorite aspect of teaching: Brandon aims to inspire his students to find their own unique voice in music through piano lessons. His goal is to help each student develop their own interpretation, so that they can share music with friends and family.
Performance: Brandon is an active performer at the University of South Florida. He participates in multiple church ensembles and performances in the Tampa Bay Area.
