Joel started taking drum lessons at a very young age by his grandpa who is a drummer. In middle school Joel took many music classes and was very involved with the music scene at school. He was involved in jazz band, symphonic band, rock bands, and R&B bands. He also took classes for guitar, electric guitar and piano. Throughout high school he met a lot of musicians and has now been in a band for 6 years.

 Currently Joel plays shows with his band Penny Fountain around the Tampa Bay and Sarasota area. They have played shows at the Lakeland Punk Rock Flea Market and The Regatta in Bradenton. They have just released an EP called Attack Of The Ducks.

 Joel currently goes to college at SPC (St. Petersburg College) and is working at earning his A.A in Music Industry Recording Arts. Music has always been a big part of Joel.

 Joel is able to play multiple instruments like guitar, bass, piano but he mainly plays drums. Joel has had multiple drum teachers and still continues to get classes and expand his knowledge in the drums. Between school and doing shows, Joel has the desire to have a successful music career
