John has been studying music since he was in elementary school, where
he performed primarily in the school’s band and choir. While he was young, he developed a keen interest in contemporary music, and began learning composition methods and studying music forms. He performed primarily vocals and saxophone during this time, and would later in High School begin learning guitar, piano and digital audio workstation techniques. Since then, he has attended the University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida where he performed in the University's vocal and instrumental ensembles, and was granted his bachelor’s degree in Music Technology. Now, he works as a composer/producer and performer in the Tampa area, and has a rich understanding of the contemporary
music industry. His areas of focus include piano performance, sight-reading, vocal performance, music theory, and music technology. While teaching, he aims to bestow an artistic impression of music on his students through engaging concepts and relational connection.
