Justin started to learn reading music at an early age and by 10 he was playing his first instrument. Throughout middle school and high school Justin played alto, tenor and baritone saxophone. He was involved in concert band, pep band, jazz band, symphonic band, solos, ensembles, and was a band officer his senior year. Once in college Justin began to pursue drums and started to perform live across multiple venues in the Tampa Bay area, eventually recording and releasing two albums through various music outlets. Throughout this time Justin has gain experience and resources to make him a successful musician allowing him to become endorsed by Collision Drumsticks.
Justin began performing for school competition in middle school and high school throughout the east coast. Currently, Justin performs weekly around the Tampa Bay Area at various music venues and social establishments with the band Til Now. During his 10 years of playing drums one of the more notable performances was at the Save The Music Festival in Gainesville hosted by Save The Music Foundation and VH1.
Justin has 6 years of classical saxophone performance and education and one year of choir at Seffner Christian Academy. While at HCC Justin continued his music education by attending a piano class, sight singing and reading, fundamentals of music, music theory and other courses to further his music career.
Justin has played several instruments through his music career, mainly being saxophone and drums. As a classically trained saxophonist and a self taught drummer, Justin has continued to pursue and grow in his musical knowledge based around fundamental structures and creative processes. Between school competitions and live concert performances, Justin has the skill and passion to ensure a successful music journey for all his students.
