Zane Tapper is a pianist, singer/songwriter and DJ active in Tampa and the larger Bay Area. Classically trained since the age of 6, Zane acquired a feel for the sound of jazz in early adulthood and now performs a repertoire of originals and jazz standards. Zane keeps himself immersed in the music scene in his hometown of Tampa, Fl both in the fore and background; as a founding member, pianist and lead singer for the band ‘Aliqua’ while also serving as an artist under the Cigar City Records label.



In his three years in the local music scene, Zane has made appearances on radio stations WMNF 88.5 and WUSF 89.7 as well as performed original songs with his band at notable venues around Tampa and St. Pete. With one on one experience tutoring piano students at Middleton High School, Zane ensures that students’ learning is focused on goal-oriented growth and creating a safe space for expression through music.
