Patricia Calderin Martinez is a passionate violinist who began playing the violin at the age of 8. She started her musical journey in Costa Rica through SINEM (Sistema Nacional de Educación Musical), where she first developed her love for music and the violin. After moving to the United States, she continued her musical studies and played in her middle school orchestra.
Patricia is currently a member of PYS (Pinellas Youth Symphony), Serenade Strings, and the Sunstate Orchestral Program. Through these experiences, she has continued to grow as a violinist and has had the opportunity to perform and learn alongside other musicians.
Music has always been an important part of Patricia’s life, and she especially enjoys playing the violin and sharing her passion for music with others. Now, she is excited to begin teaching and helping younger students discover the joy of playing the violin. She hopes to make lessons fun, encouraging, and a place where students can feel comfortable learning and growing as musicians.
