Our Kids Choir is a weekly ensemble geared toward elementary students who love to sing. Maybe your child takes private lessons with us already. Maybe they are in a choir at school. Or maybe they just want to see what it’s like to sing in a group. No matter their background or skill level, Kids Choir is a place for students to explore singing in a group setting.
The Setup
Our ensemble meets weekly at our South Tampa music school and is open to students ages 5 to 11. Each session runs for 12 weeks, skipping holidays observed by Hillsborough County Public Schools. Rehearsals are on Thursdays from 5:30-7:00pm, and parents are free to drop off their students or wait in the foyer during class.
The Content
Each week, students will learn skills that are unique to singing in a group, such as blend, listening and harmony. We will also be sure to include some basic vocal techniques like breathwork and tone control. Our more advanced students may try out for solos. Beginners can choose to blend with the ensemble or strut their stuff with a solo of their own! And the best part – we’ll start each semester off trying out tons of new songs. Your child can even bring a song they want to learn to the group as well.
The Performances
Each semester of our Kids Choir will foster 2 performance opportunities. Our fall semester students will perform at our very own Spooktacular Holiday Recital (October) and then for the year’s grand finale at our Holiday Recital (December).
In the spring, join us for our one-of-a-kind Valentines Singers, where our singers share the love with friends of the studio in a priceless caravan through the neighborhood. Last, our students are sure to impress you at our studio’s Spring Recital held at the end of April.

The Details
Kids Choir meets semesterly for 12 weeks at a time.
Rehearsals are on Thursdays, 5:30pm-7:00pm.
