Cello

Paola Calderin

Paola is a 16-year-old Venezuelan cellist and music enthusiast with a strong passion for classical music. She began studying music theory at 11 years old, and just two months later, she was introduced to the cello and instantly fell in love with the instrument. Since then, she has continued developing her musical skills and currently plays with the Pinellas Youth Symphony.

Paola especially enjoys the works of Bach and Vivaldi. As a bilingual English and Spanish speaker and a visual learner, she enjoys finding creative and easy-to-understand ways to teach musical concepts. She loves working with kids and enjoys making lessons fun, engaging, and comfortable for each student. She believes every student learns differently and strives to adapt her teaching to their individual needs. Outside of music, Paola loves reading and discovering new ways to learn and grow as a musician.
