Yuan Tian is from China, she began studying piano at the age of three, earning perfect scores in sight-singing and ear-training as well as high marks in piano and voice in the National High School Examinations. Then she with the third place in China was admitted to the key university Jinan University to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance. Under the tutelage of Prof. Zhishuai Chen who is the youngest graduate in the history of The University of Texas at Austin to earn consecutive undergraduate master's and doctoral degrees.

During her studies, she received the Outstanding Student and Outstanding Student Leader Scholarships every semester, and actively participated in the campus’s athletic events and various competitions and activities in the related fields with outstanding results, Yuan also participated in runway shows and as a spokesperson for various brands in advertisements in addition to her studies.

Yuan came to the University of South Florida in 2023 to pursue her Master's Degree in Piano Performance under the tutelage of Prof. Svetozar Ivanov, and to date has maintained a perfect 4.0/4.0 gpa and has successfully performed in her concerts. She will be going to Europe this coming July to participate in music festival and give concert.

She also has a wealth of teaching experience, with students from different countries and at different levels achieving excellent results under her coaching which received excellent grades, including the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music examinations.(ABRSM)
