Hello, my name is Dakota Petrie, I having been playing guitar/bass for 20 years. At the age of 18 I attended the GIT program in Los Angeles California. I went on to perform in multiple bands and played the sunset strip regularly. Later in life I went to work for David Campbell a prolific composer in LA. While with David I learned about orchestration and orchestral recording, sound engineering and the music business. I had the opportunity to work in every major music studio including Capitol Record, Oceanway, Sunset Sound, The Village, NRG, Blackbird studios etc. I am a self recording artist. I love teaching musicians how to master their instrument and to refine their playing an creativity to bring them even more joy. I also love to inspire others to the opportunities that are out there for them as musicians.
